Transitional Housing
Tired of couch surfing but not quite ready to move into your own place? B:E's transitional housing programs offer you a place to live while you work, go to school, save money and get ready to find an apartment. If you are between the ages of 18 and 24, we might have a spot for you.
Community Housing
Our community housing program offers supportive community living for former foster youth. Residents receive weekly life skills training and other supportive services to help them progress towards their independent living goals. Rooms are usually shared. Men and women are housed in separate locations.
Host Housing
Host housing pairs former foster youth with caring adults who can provide encouragement and helpful guidance as well as a place to live. If you already have someone like that in your life (for example, a mentor or relative – anyone but your biological parents), give us a call. Youth and host share a monthly stipend to help cover costs.
Have you already found a place to live? We may be able to help you find furniture and other household items for your apartment.
